At Curious Goldfish, our mission is to create authentic content that inspire you through wonderful stories about triumphs and struggles, with artists who may have 20 followers, or 20 million. Who knows, you may learn about your next favorite artist. At a minimum, we hope you are encouraged by the music, enabling you face every day with more hope, positivity and try to have more intention with your curiosity.

About the Host

Jason English is the host of Curious Goldfish. Inspired by the television series Ted Lasso, Jason launched the podcast in January 2024 because of his curiosity about musicians, songwriters and the music industry.

He holds a Bachelor Journalism degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

He is the father of three grown children and a four-legged son named Pancho. He self-published his first children’s book, “There’s Fuzz in My Belly Button,” in 2025.

He lives in Atlanta.
